A Tribute to My Dad...

A dad is someone who wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.
A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.
A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail...

The greatest thing a FATHER can do to his children, is to love their mother.

(My love for gardening came from my dad...)

I've loved one person unconditionally. He's the most caring, and generous, and charming and flat out the funniest guy I'll ever know...he's my father.

It is a lifelong privilege for those of us granted a loving and supportive Father. I am glad you have that in your Dad.

I love the pictures and the quote about what a Dad can "do to" his children. So true.

LOVE that quote you put on there about a father loving the mother. Such a big deal!! My parents say that to each other all the time...and it's super corny and we mock them, but we are grateful that it's true:)

He looks like a RIOT. Aren't fathers just awesome. I love my dad too and in his aging years and failing health....it is quite humbling to wonder how much more time he has with us.
Cherish it all
