Family Time at the Oregon Coast

Fun Photos...

Isaac & cousin Christopher

Flip-flops and footprints . . .

Take a sweet, grandfatherly man like this . . .
. . . add an arsenal of water guns

an UN-limited water supply . . .
a little revenge (just kidding, Jeremy!)
. . . and what do you end up with?

Gangsta Grandpa, that's what!

Why can't I get her to pose like Rachel can? She just runs from me when I have a camera . . .

Me, just chillin, watching the kids (and Grandpa!) play

Seriously, he needs that thing surgically implanted (and he WON't use a Blue tooth thingy)
The clouds didn't come out until we were ready to leave - and that's a miracle, at the Oregon coast

Time to sample a little cheese at the Tillamook Cheese Factory
(really what we did was pig out on the delicious ice cream)

I'm Glad That I Live in This Beautiful World . . .

. . . . Heavenly Father Created For Me!

I am in awe of God's beauty

and I think that the talent and ability that Rachel has in capturing that beauty is awesome, too.

These are a few pictures from our trip to the Oregon Coast

Bright and early the next morning, we took a series of family photos

Welcome to the family!

Brooke Rose Carey was born to my son and daughter-in-law Saturday, August 15, at 12:30 pm. She weighed 7 lb, 15 oz, and is 20 1/2 inches long.

I was at the hospital and able to witness the birth. What a wonderful experience!
