The Secret is Out . . . my baby girl is TWELVE today!

Noelle decided that she wanted to get her hair done for her birthday. So on Friday, I took her to my hair stylist.
Hmmmm
Is she like her mama, or what?

I'm so glad she just wanted a trim. I love her beautiful blond hair

Afterwards, we went to Couer d'Alene park (our fav) and had a BBQ picnic birthday party, with family and friends.

Girl's Camp 2009

This year, our stake was fortunate enough to be able to hold our YW Girl's camp at the Boy Scout's Camp Easton - minus the boy, of course! (So sorry girls!)

Noelle, sittin' and chattin'

The YCL's singing for the other campers. Rachel is in the Tu-tu. Of course.
Ladybugs were EVERYwhere that week . . .

Yummy meals

Beautiful Lake Coeur 'd Alene

One of their fearless leaders. Thank you! You are wonderful!

A Day in My Garden. . .

A glimpse of a little red pepper
Yellow squash hiding . . .
In the corn patch, of all places!
Corn patch, pretty small one, compared to last year . . .
One of Isaac's chickens that he hatched
(well, he didn't hatch her, his incubator did, but you know what I mean)

Thornless blackberries (yes, Thornless. So Wonderful)
Ginourmous Thornless Blackberries!

Something a little different - Purple Pole beans. So yummy

So this is what a 2-year-old asparagus plant looks like?

Family Time at the Oregon Coast

Fun Photos...

Rachel

Isaac & cousin Christopher

Flip-flops and footprints . . .

******************************************************************
Take a sweet, grandfatherly man like this . . .
. . . add an arsenal of water guns

an UN-limited water supply . . .
a little revenge (just kidding, Jeremy!)
. . . and what do you end up with?

Gangsta Grandpa, that's what!

Why can't I get her to pose like Rachel can? She just runs from me when I have a camera . . .

Me, just chillin, watching the kids (and Grandpa!) play

Seriously, he needs that thing surgically implanted (and he WON't use a Blue tooth thingy)
The clouds didn't come out until we were ready to leave - and that's a miracle, at the Oregon coast

Time to sample a little cheese at the Tillamook Cheese Factory
(really what we did was pig out on the delicious ice cream)
