It turns out that (my Crazy Missionary) Chad's companion, Elder Grin, had to go home one month early because of the surgery on his finger and the attached tendons. I feel so bad for him! It is going to take 4 months for it to heal... meanwhile, Chad won't have a regular companion until the next transfers. He is training the YM in his area to be missionaries! I think that is really great, both for him and the kids who get to work with him. Chad does have to work extra hard to keep his area going, to both teach the people of Chile, and to train these young men to be great missionaries! What an awesome opportunity for him!
