Still quite a bit of snow on the ground, but the good news? It was 59 degrees today! Warm enough to soften up the snow enough so that Bailey left footprints ( I mean pawprints!)
The heavy snow this winter piled up on my raspberry arbors and broke them all down. Another spring chore!
This season reminds me of one of my favorite Primary songs:
Whenever I hear
the song of a bird
Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world
Heav'n-ly Father created for me.

The only bad thing about all this snow melting is we'll get to see how much clean up and yard work are ahead of us :( Right now OUr driveway is thrashed from melting and flooding and tire tracks have made big ruts in the drive so I believe we will be repairing the driveway this spring...not too mention the pineneedles and broken branches and trees everywhere:( It'll all be pretty again someday:)
Ewww. You just keep that snow to yourself. We had 70s a few days ago, and it made me long for spring even more!!!
Spring paid us a visit this week too! AND I even saw my tulips peeking through...the BAD NEWS---now I am yelling at the kids to not step on them! hahaha who cares though...IT'S SPRING!!
THAT'S MY FAVORITE PRIMARY SONG! Oh the excitement of Spring in the air! My forsythia is bursting with color. We must be a little warmer down here in Utah huh?
