If you go to this web site, LetsSayThanks.com,you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq .
You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?
Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you.
Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do.
We can never say enough thank you's.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military!
(and thank you, Kirsten, for sending me this heads-up!)
Also,we are going to be making a bunch of these today. After we put up the tree. And "we" means me and my two youngest daughters. And we might let the boys help. A little.
If you are shocked, you have to know that this is a vast improvement of my Nazi tendencies towards Christmas Tree Decorating.
Will post photos promptly.
Have a great weekend!
I have snowflakes falling softly outside my windowpane right now . . . )

I have never heard of the game Quelf. Isn't it amazing when your Thanksgiving group is so large you need to reserve the cultural hall. So much fun though.
and I will have to go to that website and send a holiday wish to our service men. Great idea.
Thanks for the heads up about the xerox thing. Very cool.
I love the idea of making snowflakes together. Such an easy and fun way to celebrate the season.
That is awesome!
Thanks for telling me about it---that's a great idea.
We had some snow flurries and my daughter insists it's "beginning to look like" winter. NOT CHRISTMAS. No amount of explaining can convince her that snow adds to the holiday spirit.
Thanks for the tip on the Xerox thing - definitely worth checking out.
This is a great post! I will definitely be doing this!
LOVE this idea....thank you so much for posting it and passing it on.
I wish I could share you love for the snowflakes. : )
That is such a great idea!! Definitely going to do that now.

You're NOT talking to yourself. I am touched by the posts of your family I have read so far. I guess I will be following your journey now.
Thanks for thinking of military families this season as I am part of one.
Thank you for sending a missionary to serve, as I will be sending off two in 2010.
May
